The Parcelpal C600 is a secure parcel box aimed at lower use small businesses or consumers and the B1000 unit more suitable for users receiving regular weekly or daily deliveries or collections. System Installation & Setup
- Installation of the system requires only a mains power socket inside your premesis and a suitable solid floor or wall to which the ParcelPal Delivery Box can be fitted. A mains adaptor converts the supply to low voltage 12V DC for all cable routing both inside and outside your premesis, so only a small hole is required through which to pass the cable. The intercom will be fitted in place of your existing doorbell, as the system includes its own doorbell ringer inside the mains adaptor fitted to your chosen socket.
- The intercom is available in black or light grey and can be supplied with either a single buttoned faceplate, simply labelled with 'Service', or a dual function version with a 'Doorbell' button as well as a 'Parcels' button. These faceplates are interchaneable and can be purchased as a spare and retro-fitted after the initial installation.
- On the 2 button variant when the 'Doorbell' button is pressed it will simply ring the internal doorbell sounder fitted inside your premesis. When the 'Parcels' button is pressed, in addition to ringing the sounder, the system will call out to your pre-configured remote phone number allowing a conversation to be instigated.
- In the single-buttoned option the single 'Service' button performs identically to the 'Parcels' button, the system acting as a GSM doorbell, always calling the configured phone number when the button is pressed and allowing you to always be able to speak to the person at your door, whether you're in or not.
- The only setup required after installation is the SIM card to be enabled and the system to be configured with your chosen number, either landline or mobile phone. Calls made by your ParcelPal system will be chargeable at the normal service providers rate and a monthly charge will be added to your bill to cover the leasing costs of the system.
