Lockerbanks & Commercial Delivery Lockers for the Logistics Industry...

The delivery of time critical spare parts and materials to field service engineers and sales reps is a fast growing, high margin sector of the delivery logistics market. To offer an effective solution to clients requiring such a service it is essential that a convenient and secure exchange location can be offered, preferably with 24hour availability and full track and trace functionality .
ParcelPal provide a range of automated hi-tech delivery lockers specifically targeting this need. They enable the secure unattended exchange of business deliveries without the need for both the recipient and sender to be at the exchange address and offer a fully traceable transaction history along with a highly effective POD confirmation mechanism.
Their GSM technology means they are amazingly straightforward to setup at almost any location and when installed have the simplest of operation, with the ability to be managed independently; either by field service provider, spares stockist, or parts carrier.
Granting Access to the Delivery Lockers
Access to the lockers can be achieved in a number of ways, allowing the system to be tailored to youir specific needs.
Pin Code Access
- To allow access to a locker, simply supply the locker's phone number and one of its allocated PIN numbers to the person requiring access.
- On arrival at the locker they simply phone up the locker using their mobile phone and enter the PIN number on their phone to unlock their allocated container..
- Different PIN types can be allocated, either to allow unlocking of a container just once, or whenever it's used.
- A PIN type can also be allocated that will allow the opening of many lockers, all installed at different locations, for instance if a courier is servicing the lockers of many clients.
- A comprehensive history of the transaction, including which PIN code unlocked the container, is then available online to the owner of the system.

The Intercom
- Using the intercom, fitted to the master locker, there's another method of opening a container.
- If the user attending the locker doesn't have a PIN code, they can simply press the intercom button.
- This causes the technology within the locker to make a call to a pre-configured phone number of the owners choice.
- Once answered the call recipient is able to talk to the user at the intercom and agree to unlock the container.
- By simply typing a key sequence on their phone’s keypad the call recipient can unlock one of the lockers at the user’s location.
Bespoke Systems
- For orders of sufficient size bespoke systems incorporating barcode access and full trasaction traceability can be implemented with full integration into third-party systems
